How it started
I bake small batches in my home kitchen, sharing the sourdough my own friends and family already love — made with minimal ingredients, never chasing loaf counts.
Sourdough is more than a product for me, it is a craft I have come to deeply appreciate and cherish. I sell my own starter, Suzette, on Etsy, and I teach sourdough classes locally so others can fall in love with the process too. You deserve good bread at home — minimal ingredients, gut healthy, made with real time and attention.
So when you order from me, you're not getting bread off a shelf. You're getting something I worked by hand, in my own kitchen, with thoughtful care and consideration.

Home Kitchen, Small Batch
I started this micro-bakery to share the sourdough my own friends and family already loved. Every loaf, pizza crust, and cookie comes out of my home kitchen in small batches, made to order, just for you.
I'm not chasing loaf counts here. I love working with the dough, gently coaxing it into a beautiful loaf with a tender crumb. I love long fermenting my chocolate chip cookies, knowing that it will put a smile on someone's face. I love pressing out my pizza doughs knowing that it will make someone's dinner prep just a little bit easier. When you order from Sourdough Misfit, I'm baking for a person, a family - sharing something of myself in every batch.
Oh Kelly-those cookies are truly some of the best I’ve eaten. Will be whipping up a pizza for dinner this week and cannot wait to try it. I need to reorder!
Small Batches, Real Bread
Every loaf, pizza crust, and cookie dough ball you see here was made in small batches in my own home kitchen in Phoenix — not on a shelf, but for a family like yours. This is the dough I work by hand, with minimal ingredients, baked with the same care I'd want for my own table.
